Removed by modHot take I know, but I don't think the moon landing was real. When the US government says that they did this giant technological feat to prove how america was better than russia, I treat it with heavy scrutiny.

don't you think the USSR would have said something about it? also this ignores the physical evidence left on the moon including a mirror you can hit with a laser
The USSR was trying to save face and they could have put the mirror there later
You're banned and won't see this, but please look at the evidence. The shadows seen in the moon footage couldn't be produced in a studio, the low gravity would have been incredibly difficult to fake without wires showing up on screen, and they put retro-reflectors on the moon that scientists regularly point lasers at to measure how far away the moon is.
Some key points:
- The USSR didn't dispute the landing.
- During moon missions, they placed retroreflectors that reflect lasers. This enables precise measuring of distance to the moon, and I think were also used for some general relativity experiments. They can still reflect lasers to this day.
- Moon probes from other countries have recorded evidence of the landing including one from China.
