My friends and I used to go to strip clubs a lot back in the day, and the dancers there were always trying to get the girls in our group to apply there. On top of tips, it's apparently extremely common for one or two rich old guys to take a deep interest in you and start offering to pay things like rent and tuition once they get to know you. People be crazy.

I'm mostly baffled by the kind of disposable income you need to have in order to pay for that.

There's a staggering amount of men in their 40's, 50's and 60's who work enormous hours just to come home to a family that barely loves them. They make stupid amounts of money, but find no emotional comfort in anything so they hire prostitutes to fill the void. It's funny because the right always claims the LGBT community and the ebil gommulists are out to destroy the "nuclear family" in reality it's just capitalism sucking the soul out of people. It's always capitalism.

Isn't the term "prostitute" considered kinda derogatory and offensive now? Because I was under the impression that "sex worker" was the preferred/more positive description?

But is it sustainable in long term though. She won't have pensions or retirement benefits and her retirement will come lot earlier than most other ptofessions

Thats great. I don't think I could ever be a sex worker; my mother always told me I'm not pretty enough.
