I think it's the parasocial aspect of being able to chat and have the streamer reply to them. But then again cam sites let you do the same thing so idk.
It being on a non-porn site sanitizes it, you know what you're watching still but "at least im not on pornhub" or whatever, its a weird psychological effect.
