I do not understand the "right to exist" argument, outside of the purely logical "because it's meant to reframe the argument" of course. Literally, anything can have a right to exist. And isn't there also some saying about "your right to swing your arms ends when it meets my face". That's as far as a "right to exist" can go.
To that point, shouldn't the logical follow up be "If something has 'the right to exist', exactly what form or configuration does it have 'the right to exist' in?"
I think it's also about leveraging people's sentiment about the holocaust. So they can frame "denying the right to exist" as a continuation of anti-semitism
