For those not speaking german:
The Headline means:
Being honest means admitting: We have imported antisemitism
The rest of the post is about how immigration from muslim countries and "radical-islam" are to blame for anti-semitism in the country.
This is supposed to be most leftwing party in this cursed country.
:germany-cool: :agony-acid:
Here's a german podcast talking about how horrible germany is with israel.
AntiD's really are something else
If it were only Antideutsche saying this, it would be no big deal. This is pretty much becoming the official societal consensus.
I hate it here
I hate it too, but as they say shared suffering is halved suffering.
I have come to regard this idiom as questionable. Still, it's good to know we aren't alone, I guess
I see it as a call for solidarity.
Maybe they're over-selling it with the halved suffering but sharing with sympathetic people helps you maintain your sanity and moral compass when you're otherwise alone in an ocean of justification for and outright denial of your suffering.
It's a german saying.
Really? Maybe I'm biased because I'm only around comrades and don't have twitter or whatever, but I've only seen Pro-Palestine demonstrations here
On victory day, i saw a speech about fascism and a bunch of people with Israel flags. THe podcast i linked talks about how the german media and political class are acting in regard to israel.
Yeah I've already listened to it yesterday while making dinner, it's a great podcast. As I said, I know Antideutsche exist but they tend to become less and less relevant. Here on victory day I saw some BLM African solidarity group give a speech and they're explicitly Pro-Palestine (didn't mention that in the speech though). Not a single Israel flag.
I guess it really depends on where you are
It seems i live in a relatively more cursed part of germany, there's a ot of relatively based graffity around here, but There don't seem to be any organizations. (that i noticed)
All political parties, as well as all mass media narratives essentially propagate this view: Any delegitimization of the State of Israel is antisemitic (see the '3D model of antisemitism'). Also, antisemitism is mostly coming from those evil Muslims, we let into our beautifully white country recently. Everything was fine before, trust.
Sure, there are plenty of people who view this critically, but they aren't exactly given a voice; quite the opposite.
