For those not speaking german:
The Headline means:
Being honest means admitting: We have imported antisemitism
The rest of the post is about how immigration from muslim countries and "radical-islam" are to blame for anti-semitism in the country.
This is supposed to be most leftwing party in this cursed country.
:germany-cool: :agony-acid:
Here's a german podcast talking about how horrible germany is with israel.
Yeah, German has a really good track record on antisemitism so if there's any there it would definitely have to come from somewhere else
Yeah, historically the only anti-semitism in germany was of foreign origin. As everyone knows.
In 1920s Russian White emigrants significantly influenced German antisemites towards exterminationist policies and pioneered "Judeo-Bolshevism" theory. So there kinda is a grain of truth, lol.
Jesus Christ, guys whose grandpa has a totenkopf tattoo think that antisemitism comes from the Syrian refugee down the street.
They never de nazified, jews who stayed in germany post WWII still were(and are) assaulted and discriminated against. Like straight up "Death to jews" written on their wall, and the children bullied by teachers in school. I fucking hate germany.
It's so insidious! Neo-nazis use anti-immigrant rhetoric as a "softer" talking point to lure people into full on white supremacy, and then the "leftist" party is going to happily go along with scapegoating them as well.
Man, why would Muslims be burning Israeli flags????
Must just be their antisemitic
naturecultureThis is insufferable. What the fuck is going on in the minds of these people?
Die Welt(or Deutsche Well, i forgot which exactly) aired a interview with a palestinian and then took it down and apologized for their anti-semitism. The guy is now suing them for slander. It feels de facto illegal to say anything negative about israel if you're MSM. (ugh, that last line makes me feel icky)
If it were only Antideutsche saying this, it would be no big deal. This is pretty much becoming the official societal consensus.
I hate it here
I hate it too, but as they say shared suffering is halved suffering.
I have come to regard this idiom as questionable. Still, it's good to know we aren't alone, I guess
Maybe they're over-selling it with the halved suffering but sharing with sympathetic people helps you maintain your sanity and moral compass when you're otherwise alone in an ocean of justification for and outright denial of your suffering.
Really? Maybe I'm biased because I'm only around comrades and don't have twitter or whatever, but I've only seen Pro-Palestine demonstrations here
On victory day, i saw a speech about fascism and a bunch of people with Israel flags. THe podcast i linked talks about how the german media and political class are acting in regard to israel.
Yeah I've already listened to it yesterday while making dinner, it's a great podcast. As I said, I know Antideutsche exist but they tend to become less and less relevant. Here on victory day I saw some BLM African solidarity group give a speech and they're explicitly Pro-Palestine (didn't mention that in the speech though). Not a single Israel flag.
I guess it really depends on where you are
It seems i live in a relatively more cursed part of germany, there's a ot of relatively based graffity around here, but There don't seem to be any organizations. (that i noticed)
All political parties, as well as all mass media narratives essentially propagate this view: Any delegitimization of the State of Israel is antisemitic (see the '3D model of antisemitism'). Also, antisemitism is mostly coming from those evil Muslims, we let into our beautifully white country recently. Everything was fine before, trust.
Sure, there are plenty of people who view this critically, but they aren't exactly given a voice; quite the opposite.
No material analysis, just vibes and racism. Didn’t 1920s Germany started shitting on immigrants (which included jews)? I remember something like this from three arrows video about societies turning cruel, German speaking comrade can probably find citations and shitpost away
Didn’t 1920s Germany started shitting on immigrants (which included jews)?
Well, for starters, afaik most Jews weren't immigrants, they lived in Europe for centuries. Also, that's not exactly the most, ahem, famous event that happened between Germany and Jews.
Yeah, of course they weren’t. I mean general vibes “these newcomers bring problems”, which started mutating through the 20s and fusing with “stabbed in the back”, and nazi stocked “judeobolshevism”.
But you’re right, it’s not an exact parallel
Ps I meant this video , from 6:30
three arrows video
Ah, the guy who made me realize that SocDems definitely aren't "The Left".
This post is from a branch, but the rest of the party is not far behind.
I know i should vote, but i don't want to give these clowns my seal of approval.

Twitter from Die Linke Niedersachsen (The Left Lower-Saxony); Post menitioned above is a regional branch, this one is from the state-wide party:
We dissociate ourselves expressly from the contribution, which an individual spreads on the sides of "DIE LINKE Osnabrück-Land". It does not correspond in any way to our party program. @die_linke_nds stands against any form of racism, Islamophobia & anti-Semitism
I was listening to the chapo guest ep of trueanon earlier and Brace kinda went off on a tangent at one point in disbelief thinking about the insanity of EUROPE murdering millions of Jews, and then proceeding to say you (Arabs) are the biggest Anti-Semites and must be punished. It's fucking insane. No you cuntry of little Eichmann's , YOU are the chief antisemites, the rest of the world is playing catchup at best. You ban nazi and antifascist symbols because you have to deny deny deny, otherwise the fact that you just switched out the symbolism in West Germany and kept going with fascism.
