Hardly a coincidence that Bitcoin enjoys broad Libertarian support and is the go to currency for all types of black market dealings, including the classic Libertarian past time of exploiting under age children.

Guaruntee they cut Sterling and anyone bread-ish tube that relies on Patreon money over yt ads.

That whole swathe of higher production, long 30min+ videos, regularly unmometized, rely heavily on sponsored ads and Patreon is gonna get cut. Maybe if yt figures out how to get a cut of sponsored ads or Patreon theyll let them stay, but then your paying youtube for hosting so why not just start your own site.

He's right we don't live in a libertarian society with a "free market". And we will never, because a market removed from any regulations, manipulations, or distortions is something that only exists in the fantasies of the utterly deranged.

There is a justified criticism somewhere in there. Large social media platforms is functionally as much a public space as the local town square and as such the discretionary policing of those spaces by private tyrannies who are accountable to no one except their shareholders constitutes a major threat to free speech and democratic debate.

It is just weird to see that criticism coming from someone who wants unaccountable tyrannies to rule everything.

That's the thing, they don't want democratic control of these institutions, they somehow think that less government is still the answer. It's absurd.

They want a brutal feudal society where they themselves get to be lords.
