Omfg yes that is my second favorite climate/daily weather/seasonal event. Honestly I think I consistently enjoyed those days/weeks as a kid despite it meaning I was waking up at 6am to catch the bus that I was inevitably going to get harassed on for wanting to just read a book before school instead of engage my peers -- but I digress.
Gimme those days where 80% of the leaves have fallen off the trees, so they're blowing around outside when a strong gust of wind blows through. The sky's grey with clouds but you know it's not gonna rain at all, yet the sun won't break them up - so you put on a sweater. People starting to put Halloween decorations out which just feeds into the vibe and, growing up in a rural area is crucial for this, people are burning fallen leaves in their yards which is just carried by the breeze.
holy fuck I can't wait for fall -- best season if it's a rainy fall, second best if winter's rainier. :trans-specter: :possum-party:
Autumn/fall, when the temperature is perfect, not too hot or too cold. What a nice week that is.
