        Not true traditionally failsons were exiled to Canada or made senior figures in the military or priesthood

      Hasn't it been said that a lot of medieval wars basically amounted to big schemes to give the failsons of the nobility something to do. The younger sons that didnt inherit anything because they were not the oldest got sent of to either die or to conquer land for themselves
