In the past 2 or 3 months it was mostly fine unless anyone mentioned China or the DPRK, most people would at least adopt some nuance about the USSR, and other socialist projects were seen in a good light. I think this still holds in 80% of the posts there, but for some reason every now and then there's an inane post like this which gains a lot of traction despite there being lots of people attacking the post in the comments (many of whom are saying "yeah it's true that the USSR, Cuba, DPRK, China, ... aren't really socialist and they failed but what about the Zapatistas or this Ukrainian community"). It might be astroturfing, it might just get brigaded occasionally, it might just be the 100000 member curse.
