This fucking commie card sucks rank bootyhole
Fave deck rn is a mono-blue control deck with extra turns as the win con, yeah Im a Socialist.
Posadist Dream
Sorcery // 3WWU
Destroy all creatures. Create a 3/3 blue Dolphin creature token.
Same energy as that kids show where they “divide the grade by three (kids) to get their final score because communism”
Chapo Cockatrice/xmage EDH playgroup when
(also as a side note both of those clients are free to play and build whatever you want)
I would unironically be so about this. I just doubt the population of Chapo has enough magic cranks
I was sort of planning to start an online playgroup with some other left-friends I might just start a discord group to organize in a little bit !
If anyone wants in PM your discord and I'll add you to the server !
i'm a certified magic crank
started playing during tempest
urza block is my favorite block
the most fun decks are the ones that don't let my opponent play thru degenerate combos
10 mana, two of each color
any player may contribute mana to pay this cards casting cost.
players who contributed no mana to cast the spell lose the game. all other players win.
That creature doesn't even have power and toughness. It's an enchantment at best.
On Arena, since TBD, my jam has been mono-black devotion with Gary as my wincon. Lots of fun hand disruption and creature dies and etb effects.
I haven't been playing much since Ikora dropped though and I haven't put much effort into keeping up with things since the pandemic started.
I've had an awesome playground IRL who manage to get together to play. We all quarantine pretty well and I'm gonna get tested every week p soon.
Nice. The thing that really kept me invested and keeping up with new sets is pre-release and digital pre-release doesn't do it for me.
I don't really have a playgroup around me, but once we're post-pandemic, I'm gonna get into Pauper. There's a lot of degenerate decks that look like fun (plus, they top out at like $70 for tier 1 decks)
This game was my childhood, in mid 90s going to a card shop to by some.packs or hitting up the local flea market for big bulk buys.
I didn't care for the game once planeswalkers were added.
Tournament community was so hit or miss
Same here, played a bunch with friends in middle and high school, never any tournaments. Fell out of it after graduating as my new social circles didn’t play, it was fucking expensive, and I got more into anime as my time sink.
I miss playing MTG but goddamn I can't stand the community which is what ultimately drove me to stop playing. Playing online doesn't hit the same.
I play pennydreadfull on mtgo(modo) all the time. If you wanna join me , pm here or discord
Expensive red card
Each player in order of lowest to highest CMC of controlled permanents reveals a card from their hand and plays it, they may pay the mana cost by tapping the lands of other players in order of most to least controlled lands. All mana costs are considered colorless.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs
I'm in love with my Nyx Lotus, Thassa's Oracle, Finale of Revelation deck that wins on turn 5 by drawing the entire deck. It's nice giving my opponent a coffee break while I take my five minute turn.
Simic Nexus is this 😹
I play commander and arena. Commander is prob my fave format
All true leftists are on ProxyGang, webcam cEDH proxygang is of course the most leftest. Only libs buy cards (drafting is still cool and good though).
