We memeing now, but fyi you can get lyme disease from ticks - however it takes up to a day from the tick latching on to you getting lyme. If you remove it fast enough, you can avoid the disease. It isn't pleasant, so do spot checks if you were out in the woods.
Also, you could get the tick-borne encephalitis, which is much harder to cure and much more severe than Lyme disease, so I really recommend avoiding ticks as much as possible.

You don't want to grab them by their bodies though, if you do they can spit out the contents of their stomach.
