Is this meant to imply that the woman will either A. stop having sex when she runs out of eggs, B. Have child after child every time she has sex until she runs out of eggs and is a wreck, or C. women lose one egg every time they have sex? Only one of these seems biologically possible, and it still sounds wrong.

My guess is that it took a lot out of her and now she's not able to get enthused about a man, and thus can't find a mate. I mean, a man in the grip of sexual excitement isn't going to show his best side to a woman. She saw men at their worst, all the time, for years.
