I'd be glad to stand up against China and the forced labor of the Uyghurs, but it falls flat coming from a country that still has legal slavery such as the US. The 13th amendment didn't ban all slavery.

As far as I know theres literally no solid evidence of forced labor, I dont know why theres people on this site who still instinctively have to agree with allegations with no evidence behind them.

When it's repeated over and over your brain will automatically give the idea merit if you don't challenge it.

The only reason for not buying into cold war propaganda and not endorsing and participating in the "stand against China" over a manufactured narrative is that America is just that horrible and doesnt have the moral highground ? This feels reactionary af. Like if Just bernie becaming president and passing prison reform or living in a country with a better prison system than the US and with less horrible history would give you the moral ok to go full anti-china lib shit.

Kinda scary how some leftists would be glad to buy into imperialism if the US was like Sweeden . Fuck. If you feel the need "to stand up against China about forced labor" and the only reason you dont is because the country that propagate this has prison slavery you should really re-examine some things.
