If I'm understanding this correctly, this video is framing them holding another person captive for a breaking and entering before they intend to execute them. Reminds me of the Byron David Smith case.

It was a pretty high profile case here in Minnesota. Iirc a lot of folks were trying to cite castle doctrine shit till the evidence came out that he had essentially premeditated the encounter.
