    i watched all of cross ange do not listen to this advice. fuck this anime and fuck fukuda, im never watching seed

    there is so much sexual assault in this show, it's all very homophobically presented, very predatory lesbians in prison. the main villain is akio ohtori or paptimus scirocco but written with negative levels of tact. the treatment of disability is awful, with her sister in the wheelchair being told she's just too lazy and entitled to walk. the racism metaphor is some of the clumsiest shit you'll ever see, worse than rwby.

    also (less importantly) the stuff with tusk is some of the biggest bullshit i've ever seen. why is his dick out in the op???? why does he keep head butting her pussy????? how did he survive his suicide bombing????? apparently the answer to all of these things is that mitsuo fukuda liked him and demanded he stay and admitted as much on twitter

      Yeah, Cross Ange is definitely REALLY bad in the things that make it bad, including as I mentioned - the mountain of CWs.

      The pro-equality plot is there I suppose, but there's so much unsavory stuff on top of it that it drowns out everything in its taste - beyond the six or so episodes in the middle of the show where it eases off for whatever reason.

      It's like an expensive microwave pizza with expired toppings. As compared to the store brand microwave pizza of many modern mechanime - bland but at least it's safe to eat.

      I would not seriously recommend Cross Ange to anyone but people who actively seek out bad media. Thank you that you commented this, for my joke was not obvious enough.
