Something, something, politics is sexual pathology...

Because they see trans women as being men. They consider men superior to women, therefore in their warped view, transwomen would be better at everything than cis women. It stems from two incorrect assumptions: That trans women are not 'real' women and that men are superior to women.

It's the same sexist bullshit they pull when they joke that gay men are better at fashion than women.

Even with them believing that trans women are men, the fact that they think "men" are better at being attractive in terms of heteronormative female beauty standards says a lot more about them.

To at least try to figure out what they're thinking, I'm assuming that their belief is that trans women would win beauty pageants because the judges are too politically correct or whatever.

      Holy shit, that's really insightful.

And fascinating given the depiction of trans women and gay men in media. They're more often seen in opposition to straight cis women in terms of traditionally feminine skills, even ones where it's really telling on the writers like the ability to please a straight cisgender man sexually.

And then no lgbt person is allowed to outdo a cishet men in traditionally masculine things at all.

And I'm talking about media representation that's supposed to be good and nuanced.

I'll have to do more reading on this.
