It works reliably on computer. On phone, the YouTube app is resistant to adblockers. So I've taken to watching YouTube on my phone's Web browser with adblock. It works fine. Just needed an extension to allow it to play while the screen is off too. Sometimes an ad squeaks by but it's rare.
