clearing up a definition: 'breadtube' means debate streamers who have pissy arguments about why saying slurs is funny, why the age of consent should be lower, etc, things of that nature. no video essayists are in breadtube. ty— Shaun (@shaun_vids) July 20, 2021
How does this guy have so many subscribers vs simi established left wing media outlets? Just curious. Being older it seems like a lot of leftist beef is basically vying for media space along generational preferences. Skull dude seems cool at first glance.
His vids ate like at 35k upvotes I watch alot of what I'd consider mainstream left media that only have like 10k or upvote or less. Just pretty amazing how audiences are cultivated I guess. Plus what the cross over from pod to tube is - chapo on YouTube doesn't have near that many people, they're in only less than 200 upvotes.

I'm not totally sure I understand the question. What do you mean?

He's done some pretty high level fundraising type streams before that kinda catapulted him beyond just left viewers, i think.
Seems like a chill bloke so far I'm watching some vids
Alongside his current stuff, he also did giant bomb compilations when the channel was Shaun & Jen.
