Nice of the Zionists to once again confirm that they consider the simple existence of Palestinians prima facie antisemitic.

The pilot has the opportunity to do something incredibly funny if they can locate two similarly sized towers on their flight path

the person flying the plane is getting paid very little and took the job (banner towing in gerneral, its a really shitty job) to build hours to qualify for a better flying job

Can you tell me more about the world of piloting? I mean like why is banner towing shitty? I never considered what happens after your commercial license but i suppose there must be types, yeah? Is piloting for a major airline a "good" pilot job? What's the best pilot job?

Commercial pilots have it rough because the owners aren't the pilots so they get fucked by capitalism just like everyone else -- high skills be dammed. What are you going to do -- fly for someone else? Another rich billionaire who's also trying to fuck you?

Regan also gutted the unions power when the ATC went on strike.

Having a commercial license means you can get paid to fly, typically doing jobs like like sight seeing tours, banner towing, crop dusting and requires a minimum of 250 hours of flight time. to qualify for an airline job you need a minimum of 1500 hours. Most people build time instructing but that requires a separate certification on top of a commercial license. Instructing also sucks because you're usually an independent contractor getting no health insurance/benefits and only get paid for the time your student is paying the flight school. Student paying $60/hr for ground instruction and $200±/hr in the airplane? The instructor is getting paid $25/hr

Banner towing sucks because while towing the banner you fly at the slowest possible airspeed without stalling nearly the whole time. (Aerodynamic stall, nothing to do with the engine) The airplane controls are much, much less responsive due to less airflow over the control surfaces (ailerons, rudder, elevator) Its exhausting compared to flying at typical cruising speeds the airplane likes to fly at.

The best flying jobs are for major airlines but you're away from home 4 days a week staying in a new hotel every night so it sucks if you have a family. When you first start out as a new airline pilot with your 1500 hours you work for a really shitty regional airline getting paid like 60k and do 3-5 different flights per day which is exhausting because you have to do the most labor intensive and stressful parts multiple times per day rather than just flying across the entire country once and only doing the planning, takeoff/departure, and arrival/landing once. Also you’re not home 4 days a week.

Best job is 10 year 777 captain for United Airlines. Banner towing is like, the lowest of the low. Career banner-towers are probably in the single digits. It’s incredibly dangerous and pays like shit, the planes are poorly maintained, barely legal if at all.

“Commercial pilot” license means you can be paid to fly non-airline operations. I mean it’s more complicated than that but that’s the most basic explanation.

“Airline transport Pilot” license holders can fly for airlines. You can’t get this until you have 1500 hours. Renting a plane is expensive, and places like these are the only guys who will take low time pilots. Once you do have it, you’re grinding it out at a regional airline for a few years until you’re good enough for the “majors”. Back in 2009ish companies were telling their pilots not to show up to collect food stamps in uniform.

That’s if you get the regional airline job at all. The hiring boom of the past few years is grinding to a halt.

I mean yea i dont think sign spinners are deeply invested in the quality of the stereo equipment they're advertising either.

Is this… is this a false flag? A literal false flag operation? It looks like a Palestine supporter has paid to fly this as an antisemitic slogan. That must be intentional?

At the same time, it can't be? It's a propagandistic warning, right? I can't help but think every antisemite in the area is going start rolling up at Harvard as if someone's organised an antisemitic march or something.

Somebody disbelieved me the other day when I said Zionism is antisemitic. Where do you even start explaining when it's this much in your face and they can't see it?

I don’t think it was intentionally a false flag. I think they did this as disapproval towards Harvard (i.e. accusing them of antisemitism), but other Jewish students weren’t aware of the group’s plans so they assumed it was Palestinians promoting antisemitism

Every accusation is a confession. Israel or rather Zionists hates Palestinians.

You have to understand Zionism is a fanatical belief that equates the state of isntrael with the entirety of Judaism. They raise their kids in this and brainworms like this banner is the result.

It might work in the Orwellian hell that is isntrael , but the rest of the world sees through it quite easily.

You know, I've never flown a plane with a sign flying off of it, but I imagine that if I did I would refuse to fly certain things. Advertisements? Sure whatever. "Harvard Hates Jews"??? You're gonna need to find a different plane.

On one hand, this is absolutely disgusting

On the other hand, Zionists embarrassing themselves at every turn has got to be harming their evil objectives... maybe?

This is practically the lowest possible crybully technique and I just don't think people are falling for it. If they were, all these right wing, pro Israel groups wouldn't be going balls to the wall over protests.

Man, if only it said "Harvard hates Israel" it would accidentally appear as a rare moment of Harvard being badass.

I'm around a different ivy league campus and there have been banners and signs from students about the university's complicitity in apartheid and genocide, I was a little surprised, it gave me a bit more respect for the students here

I don't doubt there are some solid students in the Ivy Leagues. Tom Morello went to Harvard, I believe. But the students and the institution are two different things.
