The messaging from the council/aldermanic level all the way up to the federal level with the CDC and other govt agencies varies so fucking wildly that I can't even blame people who've become apathetic as fuck and don't even care about masking up. Yeah chuds exist, but there's a mass of people that just doesn't give a fuck because they need to get back into the rat race - completely numb to all the bullshit blasting through their screens.
