I get the usps and mail in bullshit because trump actually says the quiet part out loud, but damn his messaging against Biden and kamala is Surprisingly bad. I really don’t think anybody will be effected by lazy birtherism or convinced that they are secret communists.
Ultimately bad. It's not good for words like "socialism" and "communism" to be popular boogeymen, because then whenever you suggest even the most milquetoast social program -- no matter how good of an idea it is -- some yahoo can derail it with "bUt ThAt'S sOcIaLiSm!!1!!"
Note also how by destroying any real understanding of what these words mean it makes it harder for people to educate themselves. If they go looking for information on socialism or communism there's a good chance they'll run across some right-wing fever dream version of it instead of some actual history, theory, or analysis.
I agree with what you wrote but I just want to add that liberals play into this too, by handwringing every time even the mildest socdem policies come up, which reinforces people's fear of socialism.
This, I thought they would be more campaign from Trump, but who knows, probably the guy doesn't want it anymore, everything went to the right so they now are okay with an average republican taking control. Also, they needed exactly Biden Harris to start a war in LatAm without pushback from the lib media. Idk

But it's still the same thing as the kente cloth debacle, because the Democrats really don't give a shit about the Postal Service or its workers. They are just defending it because it's the only way they can sneak Biden into office now.
Look how fast they are gonna rush back to Congress to "protect" the postal service, meanwhile there's about to be like 30% homelessness in this country and people have gotten one $1,200 check 4 months ago, if that, and they were perfectly happy to go "oh well" and go on vacation.

Right wingers call everyone communists, and they believe it, too.
I don’t think trump actually believes it. He thinks it’ll be an effective smear (it wont)
Is that good or bad for us

I think he wants it now because NY state is gonna throw the book at him on charges the day after he leaves the white house.
