idk just go for them and half pay attention until they start getting interesting in my opinion. there's not really a hard line between where they suck and get good in ds9, but the bell riots episodes called "past tense part 1 & 2" early on are a must watch if you're skipping through the early seasons.
Oh and if you find yourself cringing too hard on a certain episode "Move Along Home" wherein the crew must act out a board game you can definitely skip that one.

I tried rewatching a while back, didnt get past the first episode due to life things, but the acting/dialogue in the first episode is not the best. Can probably skip or maybe just fast forward though the that one.
I've heard some of the early episodes are dumb and boring. Which ones should I avoid?
They're all fine. Dumb Star Trek is still great.
