    Sure you can achieve it through "democratic" means, but good luck not getting shit canned within a few years if you aren't planning on using any means necessary to quell the eventual shock doctrine headed your way. There's really no reason to be this historically illiterate if you're going to pump out takes to hundreds of people.

      Can you? I have a very hard time imagining the bourgeois media monopoly, the bourgeois parties and the bureaucracy of the bourgeois state would ever allow people to vote themselves into socialism. Look what they did to Corbyn and Sanders who just proposed mild succdem reforms.

        thats basically how elections in all countries in latin america go, but the barrier is even higher in the us in many ways. its still necessary to build political power though as we build a socialist movement here. if you want to talk about any sort of revolution youd do well to learn from latin american countries and much stronger socialist movements there
