I kept doing almost this exact same post on Facebook for a while. Sure, it got decent attention, properly riled up my :LIB: friends and gave a chance to dunk on them from my lefty friends, but it just got too depressing to grow and repeat the list for every news story. Like, shit, how do these people not recognize the pattern themselves? How the fuck are they seriously going to show up and :vote: with a straight face?
The good news is I plugged a few friends into local organizing and am guiding them through some political education, but continuing to make that list just bummed me the fuck out. I'll save that energy for election season, the rest of the time I'm going to focus on more direct contact and organizing. My mental health can't take that kind of screaming into the void.
