    So. Trotsky was one of the big founderes of the russian revolurion and belived in waiting for the right time. So clealry since the USSR was couped he had some points. However the good the USSR did was both real and long lasting. So he was a man of contrasts.

    Also he moved to latin america formed a polycule with fredia kalo so everone in latam regions that like comunism tends to call themself a trot.

    It's when all the other communism was wrong, but you're the good communism. Its more like a beleagured branch of of a splinter group of a larger branch of catholicism that claims the pope is illegitimate and the real pope was executed unfairly.

    Trotsky is a complicated figure. I still consider him generally a positive influence on history, despite his fans' tendency to become neocons.

    In his own historical context you can consider him something of an ultra. He criticized the Soviet Union's NEP and many of Stalin's actions.

    If he were around today, he'd probably be one of those vaguely libsoc reddit posters that loves to point out that China isn't really socialist (yet).

    Trotskyism, also known as Marxism-Leninism is based on weird college students who read George Orwell's 1984.

    It includes the Cuban Revolution, Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung and your mother.

    Never ask them for money or anything. They're probably broke. Pretty sure he is the original "punk" (though not necessarily in the sense you would expect).
