    There was some university (U. of Washington maybe) that looked at excess deaths in the US back when the COVID death toll was ~600k, and they estimated about 900k total deaths.

      I love how two governors basically genocided their captive elderly populations. I think at some point seniors above 65 represented 25% of all deaths

      That estimate was made quite a while ago, so it's likely close to or over a million now.
