Fuck chiropractors. They're not good. Some of them even claim to be able to cure structural spinal problems lol. Like how the fuck are you going to change the shape of a vertabre with a manipulation lmao. That shit is made of bone, you can't change the shape of bones like that obviously. Bunch of grifters.

It's at absolute best a shitty massage. Fuckin' insane that they get to claim they can cure anything.

I just have a very personal vandetta against chiropractors after seeing the clowns on YouTube and irl claim that they can cure structural problems. I mean look at this shit, where they claim to cure wedged vertabre with chiropractic. At best the guy was misdiagnosed and actually had a posture problem, which means his back will go back to how it was within a month because the muscles are still the same, at worse it's all faked to promote this chiropractor's YouTube. Disgusting.

They need to see a spinal specialist and get x rays, that the specialist will use to confirm the diagnosis, severity and type of scoliosis, not a chiropractor. You might wait a while with the NHS, but I had to wait until I had enough money to see the specialists

There’s only one chiropractor I’ve ever trusted and it’s because he realized chiropractic is a scam and spends his time disproving dumb claims and cites actual medical journals

Yeah, the only good chiropractors I've heard of are those that refuse to work on people with structural problems, like scoliosis, kyphosis, etc.

thinking about the study that showed chiropractic patients who received treatment above a certain point on the spine had a significantly higher risk of strokes

My friend has severe neck issues that she’s finally dealing with through a doctor and pain medicine. Her first instruction from the doctor: Stop going to a chiropractor. I don’t know if he fucked her up but I can’t help but blame him for dragging her along for years until she finally went to a real doctor. I hate chiropractors.

Like most alternative medicine, they prey on that inaccessibility to real medicine. Chiropractors just become a nexus point for every terrible source of woo because they're already starting from an unethical place and parasitising the poor. Some of the worst people in the best of times, now an active threat to humanity because their pseudo-credentials give them cover to deliberately spread a plague. When the revolution comes for healthcare reform, they should be sent into the coldest exile possible.

The chiropractor probably didnt make it worse but going that long without proper treatment probably did though.

I have been trying for about 15 years to convince people to stop going to chiropractors cuz they're charlatans. Really never convinced anyone - def pissed a few people off, though. Fake medicine has been a bete noire of mine forever, and chiropractors really take the cake. The popping noises are super convincing, and give that placebo effect an extra bit of zazz I guess.
