I'd correct slightly that by saying that this country's set up so that there's not zero but exactly ONE thing an American can do in response, which is offering support for international bloodshed. While by no means are we a democratic country, a complete lack of popular support still makes everything more of a hassle when it comes to waging war. That's why the state still bothers to manufacture consent.
The take more Americans need to learn and internalize. It sucks, but we can't do anything. Why would the CPC listen to Americans?
