Yes, they do need to make a movie featuring a “brave Republic of China soldier fighting the Revolutionary Army” aka that RoC soldier bravely executing labor organizers, peasant leaders and any other suspected commie in Shanghai at 1927.

At this point, if the USSR were still around, I’d expect libs to want to idolize the White Army to own the commies. Maybe talk about how “Supreme Commander” Alexander Kolchak wanted to institute democracy and freedom and stuff before Lenin ruined everything. If only they had committed another pogrom or five, then they could have succeeded!

The funny thing is that if Holywood made a movie based on western liberal historiographies of the Chinese Civil War these people would scream how its glorifying the CPC, cause the communists were simply that cool and dope.

Like how can you even depict The Long March and try to make the communist be lame and bad. The whole thing is so dope for Mao and the party that it reads like an anime story arc with the CPC as the heroes

Yeah. Mao sounds pretty much like an anime underdog antihero who turns his shattered guerrilla army into the PRC. Even Chuds admire his war theories and strategies.

Yeah literally all big western armies and generals read Mao's stuff on Guirrella Warfare and on People's War in a know your enemy type of way cause its literally the most effective and adaptable way to not only fight your own state and status quo but also any invader or occupier. And ofcourse they fucking trained reactionary guirella fighters like the Mujahideen based on theses principles ironicaly. Even straight up giving them Mao to read in some cases

I was trying to find some declassified US Army documents from after Vietnam going point by point on the specific tactics of fighting a people's war on your own soil against (even overwhelmingly more equiped) invading forces ,quoting the relevant mao passages, and concluding on "You cant really win against it, even if you burn the entire country to the ground" . But its been a long time since i saw them , maybe it was a link in the old sub, and i cant find em . But yeah its so rock solid that even Groups like the Shinning Path in Peru whose leadership was crap , and shitted the bed at every turn still held almost half the country at one point

Like how can you even depict The Long March and try to make the communist be lame and bad.

Spin it as a zombie movie, with the KMT made out to be Anglocized Tacti-Cool Supersoldiers fighting a rear guard action against the Yellow Horde.

You even have a sequel where Chiang Kai-Shek has to flee to a remote island and purge it of infection, before turning his eyes desperately towards the westward shore with longing. Then a climactic third arc in which the Rebel Army triumphantly returns to the mainland in a reverse-reenactment of the Long March that stretches from Hong Kong to Beijing.

Honestly, this Libshit Reactionary Fantasy practically writes itself.
