Written in 1911. This might have made sense back then when there were thousands of factories each with a separate owner, but does this still hold true under late stage capitalism now that all factories have been bought up and operate under the control of fewer than a hundred conglomerates?
But were talking about owners, not managers. If you yeet a Sackler, a Bezos, a Musk (maybe all three) in minecraft wouldn't that lead to a more interesting reaction than just a police action?
Go read theory:
The murder of a factory owner produces effects of a police nature only, or a change of proprietors devoid of any social significance. Whether a terrorist attempt, even a ‘successful’ one throws the ruling class into confusion depends on the concrete political circumstances. In any case the confusion can only be shortlived; the capitalist state does not base itself on government ministers and cannot be eliminated with them. The classes it serves will always find new people; the mechanism remains intact and continues to function.

If anything it’s even more true.

all three on the same day would send a loud message that you are coordinated and organized enough to be a real threat to the rest of the class
yeah and that's when they start sending out the Boston Dynamics Manhacks and Temporal Disruption fields
hehe but if they had those they'd be monetizing them already!
I'm actually surprised Half Life 2 style manhacks aren't a thing, they LITERALLY have the technology
wouldn't surprise me if we see them in a decade
this exchange made me realize that I don't own a crowbar but I should
get really good at baseball, unironically
having a good throwing arm will probably be important

:yes-chad:
Capitalism is resilient cuz it's based on lots of people wanting to be tirants
maybe you should write theory
the line is not contradicting what you cited,
I know
Wtf based Trotsky???
