It has always been seriously bizarre to me that Stalin's son goes to war, and when he's captured Stalin refuses to use his position to save his son. Like that's a terrifying amount of integrity. Stalin is either an unfeeling monster that doesn't care if his own son lives or dies or he's profoundly corrupt and willing to use his position to unfairly benefit his family.
