Up until pretty recently he would use photos of black athletes (edit: might have all been edited pics of Allen Iverson?) as his Twitter avatar, got called out on it several times and every time he would just double down. Just Google "Carl Beijer not black" there used to be nearly daily threads full of people confirming they were just then learning he wasn't black and had always assumed he was due to his avatar(s)

It has always been seriously bizarre to me that Stalin's son goes to war, and when he's captured Stalin refuses to use his position to save his son. Like that's a terrifying amount of integrity. They use it to cast Stalin as an unfeeling monster, and never to say "Wow he wouldn't bow to the Nazis or tell Soviet citizens that his son was worth more than their sons".
