Before finding your talking points determine why your audience likes Biden / dislikes Trump. Was it because of Trump’s mistreatment of immigrants? If so focus on immigration. Was it because of militarism/foreign policy? Focus on that. If your normie lib family member likes Biden but hates immigrants (there are more normie Democrats like this than you think) then focusing on Biden’s border abuses won’t work. If they are bleeding heart “no human is illegal” types then it will work.
Also, is your goal to dunk on them in a dinner table argument or to actually radicalize them? If it’s the latter, remember that pulling someone left is a process. Your goal is to get them thinking about why Biden is also bad, not to radicalize them overnight. If that’s the case, your goal is also to dunk on Biden, not your audience.
He is not the same as Trump and if you try to make that case to normie libs you will look like a fool and deserve it. Your goal is to make Biden look bad, you don’t need to make shit up about him to do that. Comparing him to Trump, who is objectively worse, will lose you the argument before you start. “Biden is just as bad as Trump” is a fascist talking point, not a leftist one.
Point out stuff like how we’re still treating immigrants like shit on the border, how Biden is considering using Gitmo, and how he abandoned the minimum wage hike. He also broke his “moratorium on deportations” promise and is using a Trump-era pandemic order to deny lawful asylum seekers their day in court.
Mention that while he reversed the Muslim ban, he declined to make the reversal retroactive so people unlawfully turned away in the late 2010s were not made whole.
Mention that he failed to rejoin Obama’s Iran deal and failed to hold the Saudis accountable for Jamal Khassoghi.
Mention that he doesn’t have a meaningful climate accomplishment to his name (outside of Keystone XL, which isn’t impressive since Obama opposed it too) and is continuing offshore drilling, even collaborating with Putin to push a pipeline in Russia.

The critique of Biden from the left has been somewhat lackluster, kinda like all of the energy was spent fighting Orange Man and now we're just going through the motions unenthusiastically. For the most part he is just upholding the status quo, and that keeps the media complacent.
No, there's a shitton of reasons the left hates particularly Joe Biden because of his long career being a piece of shit. Any other shitstain from the peimaries would have sustained the status quo, but this pudding brain was 40 years old when still defending segregation, and etc.
I think there were just more libs during the Trump years who, due to his open callousness and hostility, temporarily recognized the United States government as the hostile force that it is. This created a mirage of much greater leftist support. Now that brunch is back on and the mask is back on a little more, people who were never very invested stopped paying attention again (media being in the tank for Biden helps with this).
