    2019 Joker would have been over in 5 minutes with a social safety net. Instead Gotham has a billionaire that dresses up in a costume to hunt the poor and they're supposed to love him for it.

        It's also more or less just a recap of the consequences of reaganomics, but yeah, it's pretty blunt about how avoidable the entire plot could have been.

      The Reeves Batman movie also did the same shit. The entire movie they expose the businessmen and politicians and Bruce Wayne’s family. Then the end everyone is just okay with it because he helped a couple of them during a terrorist attack.

      All the problems exposed during the movie? Never mentioned again.

        This is why Telltale did it better. They stuck with Bruce's family being corrupt and while they don't fix the Arkham stuff, you can treat John like a human being which was refreshing

          I really quite like Telltale's batman. It's got plenty of problems like any telltale game and like any batman story, but it works pretty well.
