I've listened to the TrueAnon podcast and I have mixed feelings about Brace Belden. I feel like if I call him a war tourist I'll get hounded by the same people who call the US troops baby bayonetters. I think war is awful, I think an American seeking it out in a foreign land is not right in the head. I don't think there's any ideology out there worth sacrificing your life or killing for, history is not determined by individual men after all. That's why I don't respect Brace Belden's military service, he got involved with a conflict he had no reason being in, he has blood on his hands. I'm glad he moved on with his life and became a podcaster because the alternative for him would probably be an act of terrorism from what I've heard him say on that podcast. In conclusion fuck the troops, all of y'all are stupid.

Communists do not fight for personal military power (they must in no circumstances do that, and let no one ever again follow the example of Chang Kuo-tao), but they must fight for military power for the Party, for military power for the people. As a national war of resistance is going on, we must also fight for military power for the nation. Where there is naivete on the question of military power, nothing whatsoever can be achieved. It is very difficult for the labouring people, who have been deceived and intimidated by the reactionary ruling classes for thousands of years, to awaken to the importance of having guns in their own hands. Now that Japanese imperialist oppression and the nation-wide resistance to it have pushed our labouring people into the arena of war, Communists should prove themselves the most politically conscious leaders in this war. Every Communist must grasp the truth, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party. Yet, having guns, we can create Party organizations, as witness the powerful Party organizations which the Eighth Route Army has created in northern China. We can also create cadres, create schools, create culture, create mass movements. Everything in Yenan has been created by having guns. All things grow out of the barrel of a gun. According to the Marxist theory of the state, the army is the chief component of state power. Whoever wants to seize and retain state power must have a strong army. Some people ridicule us as advocates of the "omnipotence of war". Yes, we are advocates of the omnipotence of revolutionary war; that is good, not bad, it is Marxist. The guns of the Russian Communist Party created socialism. We shall create a democratic republic. Experience in the class struggle in the era of imperialism teaches us that it is only by the power of the gun that the working class and the labouring masses can defeat the armed bourgeoisie and landlords; in this sense we may say that only with guns can the whole world be transformed. We are advocates of the abolition of war, we do not want war; but war can only be abolished through war, and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun

I think pornography is an unregulated industry and highly exploitative by its very nature to both creator and consumer. As for nazis, if they are intent on killing you as in they are marching towards your house with guns then do what you must. I still think you have some duty to yourself to avoid violent conflict whenever possible, the kinds of people who seek it out could very easily be violent against you under different circumstances, those people have problems, even being brought into it unwillingly still ducks you up.

Have you ever considered Churchill, Stalin, and FDR were fucking insane? They helped create a bomb capable of wiping all life off the planet just as an afterthought. When they "won" they only threw the world into more chaos by dividing the world between themselves. Not that a Hitler Germany would have been much better but the World Wars are a tragedy not something you should feel pride in, those people didn't have to die.

He helped fight for a Kurdish state in land that wasn't occupied by ISIS. I would figure Syria has problems but I don't view ethnicity as a basis for a state, even if the revolution was led by communists with token foreign fighters alongside them. If he really cared about the Kurds why did he leave? Is it okay to just show up in a foreign land, kill who you perceive as the bad guy, and leave? He had no stake besides his skin being there. What Brace did is without a doubt dumb.

Pretty cool thing to do and they obviously welcomed his contributions and he doesn't make a big thing of it.

Capitalism follows right behind it and you better pray to whatever God you believe in that we are victorious in planting a stake in its heart sooner rather than later. Because just as capitalism replaced feudalism, communism will inevitably be victorious over capital. But the question is how much human suffering will be endured in the transition.

And if you had it your way and delay the inevitable, then even the numbers black book of communism touts - the farce of a book it is - will pale in comparison to the global suffering the parasite of Capital inflicts upon it

First off feudalism is not capitalism and second every communist state so far has come from feudalist societies. Maybe communism will replace capitalism, seems like the opposite happened in Russia and China, seems like state capitalism is the most effective at lifting the most people out of poverty, and keeping their wages at competitive levels internationally.

Feudalism, capitalism, communism is supposed to be some natural progression but it took millennia for it to happen with feudalism to capitalism, who's to say it won't take another thousand years to leave behind capitalism?

every communist state so far has come from feudalist societies

This is very interesting to consider. Capitalist states had hundreds of years of colonial slavery to build up resources. Communist countries had feudal backwaters to start from. Is it not impressive how they still managed to overtake the capitalists in many of the most basic metrics of human wellbeing, without plundering and genociding the global south in the process?

We don't have thousands of years to leave behind capitalism. The climate catastrophes it already causing in warmer regions leave us little choice. It's hopelessly naive to think that those problems won't reach colder regions eventually.
