Their comeback during the Trump years was basically riding the culture war for a comeback, but the original cancellation was legit a massive push from those in power to silence them
I had no idea who they were prior to the Bush thing. I'm also in Canada where we got to spend the Iraq war feeling really superior to Americans, so I think they actually got more airplay here afterwards.
