lives up to the hype. It's a really fun show.

It, much like Tenchi Muyo, both founded a genre of anime and are at the same time seemingly the best at it. Which is funny, considering there is a direct connection between the two shows through the author of Azumanga Daioh (he used to make Tenchi Muyo doujinshi).

Kimura's the worst character, but at least he's got a 0% approval rate among the show's characters.

Kimura does not exist, and never did exist, in Azumanga Daioh; he is simply a collective hallucination of all those who refuse to believe that Azumanga Daioh is literally perfect.

If you think that's wild, they named their capital after Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Azumanga Daioh 🤝 Tenchi Muyo! 🤝 Neon Genesis Evangelion 🤝Aura Battler Dunbine (probably, haven't seen that one)🤝.hack//SIGN

Good shows whose legacy made their genre infamous.

Aura Battler Dunbine (probably, haven't seen that one)

Dunbine is pretty good, you should watch it! I still need to get around to the weird spinoff OVAs

I feel like this show really connected with neurodiverse people at the time.

    Show

I watched it earlier this year and really liked it. Osaka is my favorite character.

Ayumu Kasuga has basically a 100% approval rating online, and I like her too.

Ms. Sakaki is also a character I really like, but is way less talked about.
