Germany is a hell hole right now. None of my friends who live there have anything good to say about the state of things--they don't even feel safe.
i went to a number of European countries earlier this year since we had a conference that was paid for in Germany. Of the 6 countries we visited I think Germany was my least favorite. My favorite was probably France but that was in large part due to the great weather and our awesome hotel and location.
