Later goes on to say that claiming all billionaires are rightwing is a "self-serving myth" lmao.

He's also genuinely been a contrarian idiot since the very beginning, and has always held contradictory views. This tweet exemplifies GG pretty well. His insistence on conflating "cultural leftism", whatever the hell that means, with "political ideology" is just so dumb that I wonder why anyone engages with him at all. If some weapons manufacturer supplies weapons to further imperialism, and hires minorities to make those weapons, this company is now leftist, according to GG. Absolutely no analysis of class at all

but what's his endgame? who exactly is he trying to grift? the right sure as hell isn't going to welcome a gay journalist who's married to a socialist, and he's alienating the whole left with his dumb twitter bullshit... that's what I simply fail to understand lol

He keeps getting booked on Tucker Carlson, so rich conspiracy types is my guess.

"No friends to the right, no enemies to the left"

Glenn is violating this sacred creed.

He thinks he's making things better by offering suggestions about how things could be improved. But leftism is very fragile and prone to destructive infighting, and criticism is best handled very delicately, behind closed doors. Not in public where the right can see it and immediately grab those (sometimes quite good) arguments and use them as weapons.

What criticism is Glenn offering here? This is a radically different interpretation of political reality, not some sort of ideological dispute.
