God, this is like losing "the game". I remember when this phrase was uttered ad nauseum all over the internet and I couldn't wait for it to stop. Just like the fuckin "high hopes dance" that buttigeig apparently did. I've managed to not ever see that. Hell, I didn't even know what song it was until this year.

Sure, it's funny in a kind of detached and cynical way, but these posts are kinda making me want to unsubscribe from the whole comm. I think that there are better things for us to fill our brains with, and that we shouldn't exactly celebrate being excessively attuned to online apparatchiks we have nothing in common with.
I do think there should be a c/lore though, to put all the accumulated inside jokes and community history.
