more like state of this site to call this a left wing critique.
remember when a poster asked if he should work in Raytheon instead of a ‘greenhouse gas emitting’ company and half the comments said working for Raytheon is A-OK? Fuck that ‘left wing’ critique.
No I'm not that clever, I was just job hunting and the only ones that payed well were either in the oil industry or a subsidiary of a subsidiary of Raytheon and thought it was the kind of "moral dilemma" this site likes to make fun of. I eventually found a community college to apply to.
Oh yeah, a friend of mine ended up in one or the big tech companies, but outside of weird startups every job posting was from MIC places. She started out getting a master's because she wanted to design prosthetics, so it was a major letdown that there really wasn't anything remotely close lol.
One of my friends got fired from the shop and got hired about a month later as a QA inspector at a new place. After about a week on the job it became apparent that they were making weapons for the IDF. Even though she was in a tough financial spot, she quit immediately. I was really proud of her when I found out.

:shrug-outta-hecks: I'm being playful when I play up Trump as a lefty, don't take my posts as serious business.
Sorry for being snippy, that post still has me shook.
K.
the raytheon post not yours lol
If it makes you feel better, it was probably a bit.

Lol, that has to be a bit.
It was me. It wasn't really serious.
I assumed it was a making fun of Dems talking about greening the military in recent years.
