Things need to be done for society to happen, but currently a lot of jobs just exist because liberals can't justify giving people money if they don't work for it, rather than because they actually fill a need. 40 hours a week is also a totally arbitrary number.
I don't disagree with you. Work as in humans doing labor is necessary, work as in like 9-5, careers and shit is arbitrary and benefits the bourgeoisie. Some people also do not create value with their job, like investors or cops
I have a coworker who worked up to 16-hour days at his last job, did a lot of overtime off the clock (for free), said it was worthwhile because they "treated him right" (let him take off a day for a death in the family) and over the 5 years he worked there he put over $100k in his 401(k).
We are blue-collar workers making well under $20 an hour.
do these people not value their time or something 40 hours a week is still a shitload of your life even as a well off redditor PMC
'work' is not good actually
Things need to be done for society to happen. Fully automated luxury gay space communism is not something that is possible to create at present.
