He has a podcast with Nick Kroll called "Oh Hello" where they both pretend to be long island bros trying to make a podcast about Princess Diana, it's pretty funny

Those are the names of the characters, no idea what Too Much Tuna is

Too Much Tuna is a skit from Nick Kroll's sketch comedy Kroll Show. The skit is supposed to be a "prank show" where the gist is that they serve customers too much tuna.

i went and watched some of his early stuff after watching "Inside" and while very well put together, it was too edgey for me. maybe some middle ground stuff would be better, idk

I did really like "Inside" tho. some good laughs in there, even if it does sort of get serious there a few times

George Carlin helped radicalize me. Not sure how well his stuff has aged though. Not all his takes were perfect. But he made a lot of sense to me at a young age. Pretty funny too

I always forget that 80% of podcasters are also standup comedians and I never listen to any of their stuff.

I really really like Hannah Gadsby, she's a wonderful comic that also critiques the idea of comedy and using her own trauma to make jokes. It's really well written stuff and she's definitely got it.

Fav tv comedy = Life and Times of Tim

Some good standup? I liked Tim Heidecker's 2020 standup special. It's on YouTube.

I love George Carlin, he's actually offensive because he ACTUALLY CHALLENGES the dominant paradigm. Another good one is Trae Crowder, the "liberal redneck" but he's been going further and further left as of recently. Ricky Gervais is a controversial choice, but he also flips off racists, "gawd haetz faqz" dipshits, and more.

Comedians like Steven Crowder, Gypsy Crusader, and other SScumbags are "safe"-offensive. They cater to popular opinion so they can be celebrated instead of treated like outcasts. They bully exclusively people that society says you are allowed to bully, but if someone ever took one of Crowder's jokes, and flipped the script on white people or Christians, it's fucking game over for that guy.

Imagine how much REEEEEEing I'd see on a daily basis if I just made a Twitter account called "inverted offensive" where I took far-right memes and flipped who's being insulted and who's being complimented. No more, no less and link to the original too for context. Watch all the proponents of "offensiveness is good, actually!" screech that how DARE I treat them the way they treat everyone else.

Ricky Gervais comedy is basically doing the cry laugh emoji at things in words and while there was a time this was funny, the general public has since surpassed him on that one so it ain't anymore and also he's a fucking removed now

there's a podcast i really really like called hey riddle riddle, in which three people solve riddles, puzzles and lateral thinking problems, rage at the bad ones, and do improv comedy skits based on them that usually devolve into absurdity. the three of them are very funny, and one of them is a comrade as well. episode 1 onwards is the best way to listen to it, since there are a lot of running jokes.

      thanks, i'll check it out.

was listening to "your kick starter sucks" and "how did this get made" and "worst idea of all time" for a while, but got over them for whatever reason

Which one of them is a comrade? I've only listened to the podcast a few times so I didn't pick up on too much.

JPC. his twitter is mostly leftist anti-capitalist stuff, and he raised money for bail funds during last year's protests.

Norm MacDonald was always the GOAT for me, but I generally hate stand-up so take that with a grain of salt.
