Even with a chromosome reader it wouldn't be possible. Loads of people can go their entire lives believing that they're cis perisex women or cis perisex men without knowing their karyotype or sex chromosomes, or that there is even the possibility that they're genetically intersex.

Perisex just means 'not intersex'. I've also heard "dyadic" used but that has some unfortunate implications (see: binarism and colonialism) so I specifically choose not to use it.

That's a little sus. You would have to have extensive knowledge of the processes and make up tips to know with any kind of accuracy. Why might a person have read all the transition tip blogs? While I am not dahing he is in the closet and projecting his self loathing outward. It is common among his profession and I think it would be a useful counter narrative.
