Like lets say hypothetically that 100 Sardaukar fighters armed with their bladed weapons and personal shields were to go against 200 Krieg grenadiers with full entrenching gear, melta bombs, krak grenades, heavy stubbers (because its an easy win for Krieg if they had lasguns since lasers make Dune shields into mini nukes), gas grenades, and bayonets.
Both sides fight in the ruins of ww2 Stalingrad, which elite bloodthirsty fighting force gets owned?
Off topic, but a fun little sideplot in Children of Dune is that the Sadaukar were so blown out by the Fremen that they undergo an identity crisis.
Everything in WH40K is monstrously overpowered so I say probably them
deciding factor is which side has the grain elevator :very-smart:
If they are entrenched it seems like Krieg would win, you typically need a significant numerical advantage to go against a well defended and fortified position.
Unless the shields are just magic bs and dont ever get penetrated despite whats thrown at them.
Krieg gets owned because they have no sense of self preservation, and believe it or not, dying is not how you win a war unless you have the infinite respawns that the Death Korps is used to.
Death Korps have flamethrower squads.
Don't think the shields protect against that.
I think you mean autoguns which are assault rifles, heavy stubbers are LMG type weapons
If the IG have no artillery the Sardaukar win imo
