Not the OP, but I did just play the game for the first time a few months back.
It's basically Batman Year One, combined with Joker origin, and also with the villains putting a bounty on Batman and thus hijinks ensue. The story isnt bad, but it's full of the standard liberal propaganda.
For example the "SWAT squad" or whatever the fuck, are where all the corrupt cops are, and gosh darnit the other cops are just good guys who want to stop criminals and I'm sure you see where this is going.
There's a side story about a group of anarchists setting up a lot of bombs in the city that you need to disarm by first finding a group of "rioters" and then beating them to an inch of their lives while they yell stuff like: "Why won't you join us?" and "We'll be safer after all the cops are gone.".
It's not a terrible game by any means. I'd rate it higher than Arkham City personally even with all the propaganda but I'm funny like that. :vivian-shrug:
Also the multiplayer videos are fun to watch.
