    If only the German army didn't act at all like the German army.

    It's fucking ridiculous that they'll do all sorts of work to pretend that Germany was so close to victory. Like no. They were arrogant and obsessed with aesthetics. They went into Russia with pretty jackets and got wrecked. They couldn't manage supply chains and got wrecked. They couldn't strategize in battle and got wrecked.

    They epitomized the dead-end that is fascism and people will still crawl out of the woodworks to defend them.

      One small detail where I think this is reflected is in the squad doctrine: pretty much the entire rifle swuad was just there to protect and supply the machine gun, this slick high tech device that will easily mow down the mindless slavic zerg rush. The fact that they usually just got outflanked and killed would appear to refute this view.

      Potential History covered this in one of his videos where he goes over how Germany could never have won. All the people contradicting did so be saying shit that boiled down to “if the Nazis weren’t Nazis they could have won” yeah well they were so get fucked lol
