disability is not an aesthetic plaything you should use for literary masturbation either, to make some vague new age point about the 'beauty of the universe' or something, disability detracts from quality of life significantly, thats why disabled people deserve care and support. its not a miracle of nature, it hurts and it would be objectively better not to be this way. thats not me saying its some kind of metaphysical failure of character like reactionaries do, its the reason disabled people need support and care more than others. the comic is the equivalent of boomer memes about aborted children. at best its slop for the correct side instead.

There is actual, genuine horror in disability, as in life in general. It is literally horrifying to have lost a sense organ or mental faculty or to be born with a painful and untreatable condition. that is a completely reasonable response. it actually is tragic.
Nothing about that implies any kind of neoliberal individualized subject. Nothing about that implies genocide of disabled people. I am not here as a representation of what reactionaries believe about disabled people.

Wasn't flowers for algernon the story about a disabled guy who got really smart and then was disabled again? All I remember from those books is that my classmates kept calling the autistic kids the guy from the book to bully them
Oh great so they were basically telling the autistic kids to go die, great school
he started out fairly well at buzzfeed and overtime his comics got incredibly bland and unfunny (this was back when 4 panel comics were/started to become huge on reddit). It became apparent that he was straight up copying his older works and like only changing the colors or the placement of eyes, etc, and there was a whole reddit moment where it was constant hate threads and shit. He then left buzzfeed to be a freelancer, and since he didn't have to deal with deadlines or corporate demands, his works started to actually become funny and unique.
See the problem with this picture is that the calf wouldn't "see" twice the number of stars because the "calf" is actually two consciousnesses getting visual input from two different sets of eyes because the poor animal has two brains. Therefore, there is no shared "calf view", only 2 separate views where they each see the normal number of stars, if thats how consciousness works.
Unless the brains are fused in some way that makes things iffy, or unless only one head has a brain, yes it is 2 consciousnesses.
