I'll start: it wasn't too long ago that one wasn't expected to pay out of one's coked up nose for programs (apps). One used to be able to buy a thing and then own the thing. Vacuum cleaners. Video games. Photoshops. Now one has to sign up for it, enter one's credit card info and fucking pay monthly for some harebrained "service."
And I blame all of you. Probably 9/10ths of you are on apple products and/or are locked into absolutely insane digital ecosystems and you all laid down and took it. All of you fucking libs. You took it, you normalized it, and fuck all of you.
Unpopular opinion: I hate pet culture
I struggle with most – the people who aren't vegetarian and own pets, I hate the fact that you can own pets, the ones who constantly put in effort to lock their pets up and the ones who generally don't care about the well-being of the pet outside of how many cuddles it generates for them and give it up when it becomes badly behaved.
more to this, people who put in zero effort to understand their animal beyond them being obedient. Oh no, you cornered your cat and were giving off mad antagonistic vibes, then the cat scratched you? its not a bad cat, you just care so little about something that isn't practically a slave. Or people who think they can just kick a puppy thats misbehaving and think that solves fucking anything.
My cat is his own being with desires. All I can do is suggest what I want him to do, which makes any cuddle mean much more.

This is incoherent. Are you saying that people who aren't vegetarian and have pets are abusive?
Nope not what I ever implied, just that there's no functional difference between a pig and a dog, but you'd be filled with horror at eating a dog. They usually go on about news stories about dog abuse but bat an eye at animal abuse in slaughterhouses.
